
This function is part of the implementation of using / import, if a module is not already defined in Main. The behaviors of Base and standard libraries are stable as defined in SemVer only if they are documented i.e., included in the Julia documentation and not marked as unstable. Some functions have both modifying (e.g., sort!) and non-modifying ( sort) versions.


Julia Base contains a range of functions and macros appropriate for performing scientific and numerical computing, but is also as broad as those of many general purpose programming languages. Reporting and analyzing crashes (segfaults).
